Going Through Doors God Opens

I believe that we all often search for our path in life, a journey that is deeply personal and unique to each individual. This search for purpose can be a complex and sometimes challenging endeavor, as we frequently find ourselves looking for meaning in various aspects of our existence. In our quest for understanding, we often tend to put purpose in a box, limiting our perception of what it can be and how it can manifest in our lives. We may define purpose in narrow terms, believing it must fit a specific mold or adhere to societal expectations.

However, I take a much more organic view of finding and following our purpose. I see it as a fluid and evolving journey rather than a fixed destination. This perspective allows for the understanding that purpose can emerge from a multitude of experiences, interactions, and moments of inspiration. For a long time, I held the belief that to fulfill my God-given purpose, I needed to become a preacher or evangelist, standing in front of crowds and sharing the gospel in traditional ways. I thought that such roles were the only avenues through which one could truly serve and honor God.

However, my perspective shifted dramatically after my profound experience in heaven. This transformative moment opened my eyes to the realization that our purpose is not confined to any one role or profession; instead, it is intricately intertwined with everything we do and say in our daily lives. We are, in essence, walking billboards for the love of God, reflecting His grace and compassion through our actions and interactions with others. Our lives can serve as a testament to His love, and in this way, we become instruments of His message, sharing His warmth and kindness with those around us.

Moreover, I believe that we are meant to be God's hug on earth, embodying the comfort and solace that His love provides. This notion emphasizes the importance of genuine connection and support among individuals. It reminds us that our purpose can often be found in the simple acts of kindness, understanding, and love that we extend to others. It is about being present for those in need and offering a listening ear or a helping hand, thereby manifesting divine love in tangible ways.

It is also crucial to recognize that we must not confuse love with mere tolerance. While it is essential to accept and embrace people from all walks of life, true love sometimes requires us to speak difficult truths. This means that there are moments when we need to tell people the truth in love, guiding them with honesty and compassion. It is the truth they know, rooted in the word of God, that has the power to set them free from the burdens they carry. This truth can illuminate their path, helping them navigate the complexities of life while drawing them closer to their own understanding of purpose.

In conclusion, the journey to discovering and fulfilling our purpose is a dynamic and multifaceted experience that transcends traditional roles and expectations. It invites us to embrace the richness of our everyday lives, recognizing that every interaction holds the potential for divine expression. By embodying love, truth, and compassion, we can truly become the reflections of God's love on earth, fulfilling our purpose in ways that resonate deeply within ourselves and with those around us.
